Une correction ou un retrait opéré par un fabricant afin de répondre à un problème causé par un dispositif médical. Les rappels surviennent lorsqu'un dispositif médical est défectueux, lorsqu'il pourrait poser un risque pour la santé, ou les deux à la fois.

    In agreement with the Afssaps, the company Immucor Gamma, informed the users of the Galileo and Echo PLCs on 07/04/2010 about a batch of Galileo Liquid System Concentrate products used for the preparation of the system liquid. The users of this device concerned by this defect in France have received the following letter (14/04/2010) (43 KB). The competent European authorities have been informed of this measure by the manufacturer. This information is addressed to the French Blood Establishments concerned, the directors of health establishments and local correspondents of reactive vigilance for diffusion to the concerned biological services.
