    On 06/11/2008, Abbott Vascular has withdrawn from the market the batches mentioned in the recall letter of the medical device called: Voyager NC coronary dilation catheters with a diameter of 4.5 mm, manufactured by Abbott Vascular International BVBA as a result There were four claims that the yellow balloon shield was too tight on the VOYAGER NC dilatation catheter balloon, and the balloon could be damaged when the balloon was removed. The company Abbott Vascular has directly notified the recipients of the incriminated lots by means of the attached message (10/11/2008) (17 KB) validated by Afssaps. This information is addressed to directors and correspondents of materiovigilance for dissemination where appropriate to the services concerned. The relevant European Competent Authorities are informed of this measure by the manufacturer.
