  • Cause
    When the infiniband cable is used with the cisco 3850 switch, the interface is set to err-disable when the cable is inserted. the port will then not work properly which is detected during test and inspection at the time of installation., if the issue occurs after installation, for example if the cable is disconnected/reconnected or if the switch reboots, a loss of traffic will occur. as a result, your monitoring solution may experience a loss of centralized monitoring.
